Adrian is the newest member of our family. He comes from the famous Urbecke Kennels in Germany and is a beautiful, healthy, spunky puppy with nice large bone, very rich pigment and color and a very nice big head. He gets into everything and shows no fears. Adrian is a loving puppy with plenty of energy and excellent drives. Adrian is currently just being a puppy and exploring life and the big world around him. Adrian comes from titled german parents. His sire is the awesome and beautiful VA Bazi von der Urbecke and his dam is V Quennja von der Urbecke a VA Larus von Batu daughter. He has 14 VA's in 4 generations. We are expecting good things from Adrian and we will work hard to help Adrian achieve his full potential. I would like to thank the Urbecke Kennels and those involved in picking Adrian, he is truly an awesome little puppy. Come back soon and watch how fast Adrian grows.
Adrian is growing so fast and is enjoying life as a puppy should. He is very intelligent and learns very quickly. We are currently working on our "Sitz" and "Platz" and doing well even though Adrian has his own version of what they mean. He has also learned "Leave it" which comes in very handy when he is about to get into trouble. Pictures will be updated as he grows. Today we went out to explore and check out the duck pond which was rather interesting as this is why Adrian is looking so intensely. After that he took a break. Enjoy!
Adrian has grown so fast, it only seems like yesterday that I picked him up from the airport and he was just 9wks old. He is such a handsome boy and still very smart.
Adrian is now 7 months old and fast approaching his first birthday. He has developed such nice drives and has very nice movement. He is maturing slowly but is highly intelligent, and is always trying to be in control. He will be a male that tests whom is the alpha. But because he has such a stable temperament, there is never a problem with aggression. Adrian has sound nerves and an abundance of personality.
Adrian has been with his trainers for about 2 months now and is doing quite well.He did have to do some adjusting but is coming along in his obedience. He is being trained at US Tactical K9 Academy and we couldn't be happier with his progress. If all goes as planned Adrian will go for his AKC Rally Novice at the end of January 2008 and then continue his other shows and titles. He will also be evaluated for herding and tracking. Here is a picture of Adrian enjoying a romp with the gang. It looks chilly, but they don't seem to mind.
We are so proud of Adrian, he recieved his CGC and then got two legs towards his AKC Rally Novice at this weekends Abilene Kennel Club show. He needs one more leg to complete this title, which he will be completing in Feb. 2008. Once again we must thank his trainers (US K9 Tactical Academy) for all their hard work with Adrian, this new chapter in his life has proved to be a positive, successful venture. We have a busy schedule planned for Adrian which includes a trip to Germany to show in the SV Bundessigerzuchtschau in September 2008.
Adrian recieved his third leg completing his AKC Rally Novice. Were very proud of him. Now we continue his training for his AKC Rally Advanced and Excellent as well as his BH and SchH1.
Today was our day to take Adrian and Quina out to enjoy the beautiful, warm Texas day. As you can see, they had a blast.
Adrian is currently in Germany training for his BH and Schutzhund 1.
These are a pictures of Adrian doing bitework to get ready for his SchH1. He will be getting his BH this month followed by his SchH1 title. We are very proud of his progress and would like to thank Urbecke Kennels in Germany and Martina for her excellent training.
Today July 18th, Adrian passed his BH and AD. We are so proud of his accomplishment and look forward to the day he passes his Schutzhund titles. We would like to thank his trainer Martina Henkel for her awesome training and professionalism. She has worked tirelessly bonding with Adrian and teaching him what she expected of him. We would not have been able to do this without her hard work.
Adrian has received his Schutzhund 1 and will be returning home from Germany. We are very proud of him and after a very short break he will continue training for his SchH2, SchH3, Korklasse and show rating; he is going to be a busy boy. I would like to once again thank Urbecke Kennels and Frederich Stenner for allowing me to own this beautiful boy. Also to Martina Henkel in Germany for all her hard work and dedication with Adrian. You took care of my boy as if he was your own and for that I am eternally grateful, "Thank You".
